GIFT GIVING

The event took place on December 17, 2022, at the Day Care Center in Barangay 2, Talakag, Bukidnon. It was organized by the Dole Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative (DOCoMPC) which is chaired by Rosalie C. Llirza. The cooperative, along with its board members, staff, and the Union President of Talakag, Mr. Sammy Bacrumen, collaborated to distribute new backpacks to children. They gave out colorful backpacks to each child. The day started with a small program where DOCo MPC thanked everyone for their support. They talked about how important education is. Then, they handed out the backpacks. Each child received a new backpack to carry their school things. This event likely brought smiles and excitement to the children as they received their new backpacks. Such initiatives not only provide essential supplies but also foster community spirit and support for local educational institutions. Teachers like Teacher Liezl Andig, who heads the Day Care Center, play a crucial role in ensuring such events are successful and beneficial for the children in their care. Overall, this event was a simple but meaningful way for DOCo MPC to show their support for education and make a positive impact on the children's lives in Barangay 2, Talakag.
